A visa problem. On Cradle of Filth's North American "Majestic In Death II" tour, Portugal's Moonspell have been replaced by Blackbraid. The band announced it on 16 September on their official website and social media accounts. Moonspell's statement is short. Their visas could not be processed in time, and the band is sorry about it. Together with their agency, they are looking for a way to return to North America in 2027. Nothing more was said about the real reason for the delay.

The tour celebrates 30 years of the band's second album, Dusk... And Her Embrace. The band had said it would add songs from that album to the set. The new line-up has Blackbraid, Worm and Black Satellite alongside Cradle of Filth. Worm and Black Satellite have been on the bill since the first announcement in July. The tour opened in San Diego on 29 September and runs to 23 dates (the Aftershock Festival in Sacramento is one of them). It ends today, 28 October, in Colorado Springs. Tickets and VIP packages were sold through onemoretimevip.com. Prices were not announced.

Blackbraid is a Native American black metal project from the Adirondack mountains, led by Sgah'gahsowáh (it put out an EP called Nocturnal Womb this year). So a raw black metal band straight out of the woods has ended up opening for a gothic vampire show. If you ask me, that is not a bad trade.
