New album news out of Norway. Nordjevel have announced Damnous, their fourth full-length. It comes out on 11 December 2026 through Season of Mist's Underground Activists arm, catalogue number SUA163. It is the band's first release on the label. They announced the deal at the start of August. Their earlier albums came out on Osmose Productions and Indie Recordings.

The label broke the news on 14 October. The first single is "Unbound in Death". Claudio Marino directed the video, and Artax Film produced it. The album was recorded at Studio Nyhagen with Kjartan Hesthagen. Fredrik Nordström did the mixing and mastering at Studio Fredman. The line-up has Doedsadmiral on vocals and Destructhor (ex-Morbid Angel) on guitar and bass. The lyrics are in Norwegian and English.

The track count isn't settled yet. The label's page lists ten song titles, but the same text says nine tracks and also mentions a cover to close the album. Which song the cover is, nobody has said. Pre-orders are open, but formats and prices haven't been announced. If you want to catch the band live, there's the Incantation tour: they'll be on the road across Europe from 24 March to 4 April 2027 (with the Ragnarök festival on 2 April). The line-up has a guitarist with a Morbid Angel past, and Nordström is on the mix. On paper, it looks very promising indeed.
